Smaken av Grimstad Moves ERP to the Infor Cloud in Eight Weeks

Norwegian leader in canned and preserved fresh produce invests in cloud platform to support business growth

OSLO – Dec. 11, 2023 – Infor®, the industry cloud company, today announced that Smaken av Grimstad AS, Norway’s leading provider of canned and preserved fresh produce, has gone live with Infor CloudSuite Food & Beverage in eight weeks. Infor’s powerful, cloud-native, industry-focused enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution will deliver insights from across the supply chain, underpinning future business growth. The project was managed by Infor alliance partner Columbus.

Smaken av Grimstad had last upgraded its on-premises ERP system in 2018 and was using the incumbent solution across the business to manage everything from purchasing raw materials, inventory and production planning to sales, invoicing and accounting. The business felt it was being held back by its ERP system and wanted to have a more agile evergreen ERP and ability to consume new technology as a cloud service. So, the business decided to implement Infor CloudSuite Food & Beverage, powered by AWS (Amazon Web Services).

Smaken av Grimstad was keen to make the move to the cloud, but it needed to be ready before the harvest. The team at Columbus worked hard to achieve this and after just eight weeks, the ERP move to the cloud was completed.

“When the board made the decision to lift the ERP solution to the cloud, there were barely two months until the harvest in July,” explains Jan Rommetveit, managing director and co-owner of Smaken av Grimstad. “The cucumbers are ripe and ready for harvesting around mid-July. A few days later, they start to rot. The factory must be equipped with people and systems, prepared to receive and process the raw materials when they are harvested. To ensure timely deliveries to the customers and liquidity in the business, order fulfilment and invoicing had to be up and running in time.

“The warehouse also needed the ability to scan the pallets on delivery of the goods so that we can send electronic information about the goods deliveries to customers. Without this in place, our customers would have to do this manually, an exercise that our large food wholesale customers Norgesgruppen, Rema and Coop simply would not accept,” Rommetveit continued.

“Infor CloudSuite Food & Beverage safeguards our historic farm-to-table perspective for the entire food supply chain by enabling us to obtain insights from right across the supply chain. At the same time, we know that the solution is constantly being enriched with industry-specific functionality, which gives us confidence that we have a future-oriented platform that will be relevant at all times for our business. Moreover, this has not cost us more than a usable tractor and shows that modern ERP platforms are now available for SMEs like us,” Rommetveit concluded.

“This was very much a team effort,” said Per Christian Øen, customer manager at Columbus. “It wasn’t ‘us and them,’ but ‘we’ all the way. Many people were involved in the project, but the combination of accurate resource allocation, data migration with good assurance of quality and time, the right expertise and, not least, professional project management and an agile project approach with close dialogue with the teams, contributed to landing this project on time and on budget.”

“With Infor CloudSuite Food and Beverage, Smaken av Grimstad has invested in a solution for the long term,” said Marcel Koks, Infor food industry strategy leader. “Our industry-specific functionality helps manufacturers increase visibility right across the supply chain, delivering the valuable insight needed to help reduce costs and increase efficiency, all while boosting business agility. It’s a testament to the hard work of the teams involved that we were able to achieve a successful implementation in just eight weeks.”

Infor Takes Systemair to the Cloud

STOCKHOLM – 13 December 2023 – Infor®, the industry cloud company, today announced that Europe’s largest ventilation company, Systemair (STO: SYSR ), is moving its core business system to Infor CloudSuite Manufacturing, aiming at smoother integration of newly acquired companies and developing new types of products and services.

Systemair was founded 50 years ago and currently has offices in 51 countries, supplying both private and commercial customers, including hospitals, offices and schools, where air quality is crucial for the people staying there.

The market has been expanding and is expected to continue to do so, driven by various factors including increasingly strict legal requirements for a faster energy transition. Systemair meets this growth potential through acquisitions and new business models, such as increasing service offerings around its product range.

”Systemair and Infor have had a reliable ERP partnership for over 20 years. The signing of the Infor CloudSuite Manufacturing contract is the next step in this partnership. Infor CloudSuite Manufacturing gives us the opportunity to harmonize the Systemair IT-environment further,” says Juergen Hernadi, group IT director at Systemair AB.

With Infor CloudSuite Manufacturing, Systemair gains an industry-specific, multi-tenant cloud solution, powered by Amazon Web Services (AWS), allowing it to quickly implement a system that makes the integration of newly acquired companies easier and faster. Systemair can centralize the entire system administration in the ever-growing company structure, significantly reducing its costs.

“People spend around 90 percent of their time indoors. We often take the air for granted, but it affects how we feel, how alert we are, or how often we get sick,” says Malte Ekedahl, SVP and GM at Infor in the Nordics. “Being able to contribute to a significant market player like Systemair and provide them with the right conditions to continue developing quality products in ventilation makes us proud.”

Ruiz Food Products, Inc. Modernizes Processes with Infor CloudSuite Food & Beverage

NEW YORK – March 13, 2024 – Infor®, the industry cloud company, today announced that Ruiz Food Products, Inc. (Ruiz Foods), a frozen food manufacturer specializing in Mexican food products, has migrated its entire Infor product platform to the cloud. The integrated Infor platform helped Ruiz Foods to modernize its operations, especially through the use of scanners, planning tools and data analytics. This was especially important to help Ruiz Foods navigate meaningful changes in product demand brought on by several years of industry disruptions including the Covid-19 pandemic.

Ruiz Foods has manufactured and delivered high-quality Mexican food since 1964. Today, it is the leading American manufacturer of frozen Mexican food with over 4,000 employees and facilities in California, Texas, and South Carolina. Between its five plants, Ruiz Foods generates more than half a million Infor transactions per day when manufacturing, its burritos, chimichangas, taquitos, enchiladas, tamales, quesadillas, breakfast burritos, and more.

An Infor customer for more than 20 years, Ruiz Foods has used a variety of Infor solutions on-premises, including Infor Optiva, M3, Supply Chain Planning, Factory Track, and EPM. In 2022 Ruiz Foods’ data center hardware needed to be replaced, requiring a significant capital investment. Ruiz Foods’ SVP/CIO, Michael Warter, also recognized that Infor, the company’s long-time technology partner, was strategically committed to the cloud.

“It was the strategic technology benefits that gave us the impetus to move,” explained Warter. “It had become very clear over the past several years that Infor was investing significantly in its cloud offering and that most of its latest innovations were coming out for cloud. In order for us to stay strategically aligned with Infor, we needed to move to the cloud to access the solution’s absolute latest capabilities. The move is a win-win because we are saving a considerable amount of capital, which we’ve been able to redirect to other initiatives, while staying aligned with our technology partner.”

While agreeing that moving to Infor CloudSuite Food & Beverage was a good business decision, Ruiz Foods’ leadership team was reluctant to start a huge, and potentially expensive, cloud migration project, especially with the pandemic playing out worldwide. With this in mind, Warter worked with Infor CTO and President of Products & Customer Success Soma Somasundaram and Infor partner Doppio Group to devise a plan to transition Ruiz Foods gradually to the cloud instead of moving everything simultaneously. “We were able to find a way to step into the cloud without having to do it all at once as a big bang,” said Warter.

The company started with upgrading its Infor PLM for Process (Optiva) into the cloud, which provided a way for Ruiz Foods to capture raw materials, subcomponents and finished goods in a way that illuminated product financials. Ruiz Foods was able to determine value drivers in the business by analyzing the costs of raw materials and subcomponents for individual finished goods and thereby track product profitability. Ruiz Foods then used these insights to rationalize the SKU (stock-keeping unit) portfolio to weather the emerging and ongoing economic challenges in the food industry.

“What we learned when we started allocating all these costs back through the product cycle is that it changed some of our profitability assumptions,” Warter explained. “That, in turn, changed some of our strategy in terms of where we wanted to make investments. This insight has proven to be valuable to our business.”

Infor’s configurability helps Ruiz Foods react quickly to support the dynamic needs of our customers. The Ruiz Foods’ Supply Chain Planning team uses the Infor planning tools to adapt to an ever changing business environment and manage manufacturing schedules daily.

Ruiz Foods looks forward to continuing its 20+ year partnership with Infor to grow and optimize its business.

“Our business model is built on working with customers to create mutually beneficial outcomes. We try to focus on the business problem they need to solve, and work together to find a solution,” said Somasundaram. “Our relationship with Ruiz Foods is an example of the type of bidirectional, collaborative relationship we strive to have with all of our customers.”

Liljeholmens Candle Factory Sees Bright Future with Infor M3 CloudSuite

World-leading candle producer makes the leap to the cloud from years of on-prem use

STOCKHOLM –  Infor®, the industry cloud company, announced today that Liljeholmens Stearinfabrik has chosen Infor M3 CloudSuite to help future-proof the processes for purchasing, planning, manufacturing and deliveries. The multi-tenant cloud solution will be powered by Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Liljeholmens Stearinfabrik manufactures candles and has production in Oskarshamn and headquarters in Malmö, Sweden. Liljeholmens is the world’s largest manufacturer of candles made from Stearin and one of Sweden’s oldest companies still operating. Liljeholmens has been running Infor M3 enterprise resource planning (ERP) on-premises for many years.

“We were prepared to upgrade our on-premises solution to the latest M3 version but realized that, with our limited IT resources, it would suit our organization better to run M3 in the cloud,” says Sofia Lanebäck, responsible for supply chain and M3 at Liljeholmens. “With Infor M3 CloudSuite, we will automatically receive all new updates and new features while still maintaining the ease of use of M3.”

After a procurement process, Liljeholmens selected one of Infor’s local Swedish partners, Meridion, as its upgrade partner. The project will start in January and is expected to be live in May. Meridion is project responsible and will secure a smooth transition to the cloud including verification of the processes and the of the technical migration done by Infor.

“Since we have a local office near Liljeholmens’ factory and have extensive experience with the combination of Infor M3, Qlik and integrations, we can quickly solve the updated and new integrations via Infor OS that Liljeholmens needs to keep on-prem, such as with the machinery in the factory and the various EDI integrations that exist for several of Liljeholmens’ customers,” says Johan Bystedt, CEO at Meridion.

“We feel that we now have a future-proof platform where we also can connect to processes we lack today, such as workflows between different departments and be able to store documents about production and quality management directly in respective subsystems instead of the network,” Lanebäck concludes. “It is exciting to see what is already available in the cloud solution as we now get the system updated more regularly as well.”

About Liljeholmens Stearinfabrik

Liljeholmens Candle Factory in Oskarshamn is the world’s largest manufacturer of candles made from Stearin and one of Sweden’s oldest currently operating companies. All our candles are cast from 100 percent Stearin in molds according to the same method as the start in 1839 and is a combination of manual craftsmanship and automated manufacturing. Zeelandia Sees 83% Reduction in Time Taken to Prepare Customer Product Recommendations with Infor

NEW YORK – Aug. 9, 2022 – Infor®, the industry cloud company, today announced that global bakery ingredients business Zeelandia Group has deployed its Infor Coleman AI (artificial intelligence) solution. These new AI capabilities are improving the accuracy and speed of product selection and pricing strategies and helping to sustain business growth despite ongoing market challenges.

Already deployed at Zeelandia’s facility in the Czech Republic, Infor Coleman AI capabilities will soon be rolled out across the Netherlands, followed by the group’s other worldwide operations. Zeelandia started its digital transformation journey with Infor in 2017, moving its enterprise resource planning (ERP) to Infor CloudSuite Food & Beverage, now live in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The cloud ERP solution provides a modern technology platform, Infor OS, to derive more value through innovations, including the application of Infor Coleman AI.

A global player in the bakery ingredients business with operations in over 30 countries and sales across 100 countries, Zeelandia Group was facing unprecedented market challenges. The higher cost and lack of availability of bakery ingredients required new sales and pricing strategies to maintain long-term customer loyalty while meeting profit goals. Given the group’s broad product portfolio and large customer base, Zeelandia recognized that it needed to digitally transform the organization to achieve these goals.

Zeelandia worked with Infor to explore the potential of using Infor Coleman AI capabilities to create machine-generated recommendations for products and pricing.

Previously, preparing to meet with customers to analyze what products to recommend was proving time consuming and error prone for the Zeelandia sales team due to a manual sales reporting process. Determining the appropriate products for each customer could be a challenge, wasting time for the salesperson and the customer.

Zeelandia worked with the Infor Coleman AI team to implement Infor Product Recommender, a solution that generates the top five products to recommend to customers, ranked by the probability of success. Presented through a web or mobile dashboard using Infor Birst analytics, a salesperson simply selects a customer and product recommendations are then displayed. A salesperson can have up to five customer meetings in one day, so Product Recommender can save them almost a third of a day of prep work.

With AI-driven product recommendations, Zeelandia has achieved these benefits:

  • 83% faster time to prepare product recommendations for a customer, from around 30 minutes to 5 minutes.
  • Better customer experience with intelligent, personalized product recommendations.
  • Increased revenue per transaction and share of wallet per customer.
  • Improved marketing conversion for new products or products that are about to expire.

The next challenge Zeelandia addressed with Infor’s help was pricing. With the constant changes in cost and the unavailability of goods, the pricing of products had to be adjusted more frequently. This had been a challenge for Zeelandia as the spreadsheet-driven process for pricing thousands of products for thousands of customers was proving time consuming and error prone and was unable to keep pace with the frequency of required price adjustments.

Michal Rada, transformation leader and group ICT director for AI at Zeelandia
“We have a very complex pricing setup that includes 10,000 individual prices,” said Michal Rada, transformation leader and group ICT director for AI at Zeelandia. “With the current market fluctuations and uncertainty, it was even more challenging to maintain, so pricing was the next obvious target to see what we could do with Infor using artificial intelligence and data science to deliver intelligent price recommendations that would find the sweet spot between customer satisfaction and company profits.”

With Infor’s help, Zeelandia applied the same concept of AI recommendations to pricing, delivering the following benefits:

  • Improved customer loyalty, offering the right price and understanding why.
  • Meeting profitability goals with optimal pricing.
  • Reduced time and costs through machine-generated pricing.

“Our goal is to be a trusted partner with bakeries by offering them the right products at the right price so that they, in turn, can keep their customers happy and loyal,” Rada said. “With Infor’s AI-driven recommendations for products and pricing, not only do our salespeople save time in preparing for customer meetings, but Zeelandia stays true to what we value most – customer intimacy.”

The innovation journey continues at Zeelandia with Infor Coleman AI being applied to customer relationship management (CRM) data to provide “customer” or “opportunity” recommendations. Next, Zeelandia plans to be an early adopter of Infor’s hyper-automation solutions to gain even more efficiencies.

“Our relationship with Zeelandia is testament to Infor’s ongoing commitment to innovation, working alongside our customers to deliver industry-specific solutions that address the challenges they face on a daily basis,” said Marcel Koks, senior director of industry & solution strategy for Infor Food & Beverage. “We’re already looking forward to the next stage in Zeelandia’s digital journey and will continue to work in partnership with the team to deliver the solutions needed to underpin their ambitious business goals.”

About Zeelandia

Founded in 1900 by the Dutch Doeleman family and still headquartered in Zierikzee, The Netherlands, Zeelandia has become a global player in the bakery ingredients business. Today, 3,200 employees worldwide are dedicated to developing products tailored to local tastes and needs – with operations in over 30 countries and sales in about 100 countries. Lely Optimizes Cloud Environment with Infor

Infor, the industry cloud company, today announced that Lely has deployed its Infor CloudSuite Equipment enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution to enhance growth and innovation in its production of milking robotics. The future-proof, flexible solution offers improvements in areas such as tracking capabilities, quality management and supply chain management.

Lely is a Dutch family-owned company in the agricultural sector founded in 1948. The company designs and manufactures automated systems for dairy farmers around the world to enable them to excel in sustainable milk production to feed the world. With the new cloud-based Infor ERP, powered by Amazon Web Services (AWS), Lely wants to increase flexibility to support innovation in milking robotics.

The agricultural world is changing. The growing world population and shortage of raw materials require more insight. Through automation and robotics, agricultural entrepreneurs can perform simple analyses to, for example, monitor their livestock and increase productivity. The Infor CloudSuite application supports the necessary flexibility.

“I am very proud of the way we did the implementations as a team with Infor’s alliance partner Apex Systems and Infor. We made it a team success. The requirements were that it should be implemented in a short time, that the users and customers would not feel it and that there would be no downtime in production. Every requirement was met. The servers were replaced and the new system switched over during the weekend, so by Monday morning, the cloud applications were already working perfectly. The ultimate measure was our customers never felt any disruption,” says Bart Kuijpers, Lely’s head of data, value & IT. “A huge advantage is we no longer need to do any system updates or maintain any servers. Everything is looked after by Infor. The ERP is at the centre of our IT landscape, and now we can take advantage of regular functionality updates and the Infor Data Lake as a central data repository.”

“The Infor solution provides the flexibility to manage the most complex value chains, such as supply chain management, procurement insight and more efficient production processes. With the ERP solution, organisations can quickly adapt as industry trends change. This optimizes their operations and helps to increase revenue opportunities,” said Hein Kivits, Infor’s senior sales director in Benelux. “We are pleased to provide Lely with a solid foundation that will help them achieve their ambition to remain the market leader in the agricultural sector.”

In the next phase of the implementation, Infor’s cloud-based application will be deployed in the other countries where Lely is active in 2022 and 2023. The focus is to improve the supply chain and financial processes.

About Lely

Lely is located in Maassluis, The Netherlands, and for more than 70 years has stood for innovative milking robotics worldwide. As one of the world’s leading organisations in the agricultural business Lely employs more than 1,600 people. In more than 45 countries, cattle farmers work with these solutions in the barn or on the farm every day. Lely has two production facilities and three R&D departments to support product development. Portwest Dresses for Success with Infor

Workwear leader goes live on multi-tenant Infor CloudSuite Fashion to sustain growth and accelerate the integration of new acquisitions.

LONDON – January 5, 2022 – Infor, the industry cloud company, today announced that workwear manufacturer and distributor Portwest has deployed Infor CloudSuite Fashion in a multi-tenant cloud deployment, running on Amazon Web Services. This upgrade will help Portwest create standardised processes throughout facilities in the United Kingdom, USA, Ireland, Poland, Dubai, Australia, Myanmar, China, Bangladesh, Italy, and Albania.

Portwest has grown consistently at 24% per annum over the past two years and currently manufactures and distributes more than 1,800 products and 35,000 SKUs. The upgrade is the latest stage in an ongoing standardisation programme to help sustain that growth.

This programme most recently saw Portwest deploy the workflow and electronic data interchange (EDI) integration capabilities of Infor CloudSuite to improve collaboration with suppliers and customers. Portwest has also taken advantage of the Infor CloudSuite capabilities for documents such as pick sheets, invoices, order confirmation, statements, and dispatch notes. This has enabled Portwest to retire inefficient, legacy document management technologies.

The enhanced application will now enable Portwest to use internal invoicing to track the movement of goods more accurately and efficiently within the group, as well as form a template for the rapid integration of acquisitions.

Plans for 2022 include integrating factories in Bangladesh and Myanmar, plus onboarding an Albanian facility that is part of a recent Italian acquisition. Once a standard template is in place across these facilities, Portwest plans to deploy integrated business intelligence and analytics and begin the full automation of a UK warehouse.

“Our use of Infor has evolved as we have grown, from Infor M3 ERP on-premises through to M3 single-tenant cloud, and now the multi-tenant Infor CloudSuite because it has been a path of ever-increasing returns,” explained Paul Forry, head of information technology at Portwest. “This move to multi-tenant Infor CloudSuite also helps us address issues in the movement of our stock and forms a foundation for plans in the coming months to ensure standardized processes in our acquisition targets. We have aggressive plans to become a £1 billion company by 2025, and acquisitions and increasing our salesforce are going to be the main engines of that growth. We are also undertaking a deep examination of our customer profiles and looking at how we can diversify to sustain our double-digit growth. Infor CloudSuite will be at the heart of all of these initiatives.”

“Portwest is a textbook example of how moving from ERP to multi-tenant Infor CloudSuite can enable, accelerate and sustain substantial growth,” said Anwen Robinson, Infor general manager and senior vice-president for UK & Ireland. “From establishing improved processes to reducing costs by retiring legacy technology, and accelerating the onboarding of acquisitions, Portwest has demonstrated repeatedly why it is not only beneficial to harness the power of cloud technology, but that to drive growth, it is a necessity.”

Bright Food Global Selects Infor to Deliver Essential Ingredients for Success in Group-wide Cloud Transformation Program

Australia’s major provider of leading retail and premium food brands is one of the first in ANZ to tap into Infor’s Coleman Artificial Intelligence technology.

SYDNEY — 14 December 2021 — Infor, the industry cloud company, today announced that Bright Food Global, a market-leading distribution network spanning the Asia Pacific region, specializing in consumer packaged goods, high-end fine foods and Australia’s largest exporter of citrus fruit, has selected Infor Food & Beverage (F&B) to power its move to a multi-tenant cloud setting for ERP and core business systems — a decision that will underpin the organisation’s next phase of growth.

Bright Food Global, a diversified group with origins dating back more than 100 years, represents a portfolio of iconic businesses and brands including heritage dried fruit business Sunbeam Foods, Manassen Foods, Hutchinson’s New Zealand, Calendar Cheese Company, Simon Johnson, Mildura Fruit Juice Australia, etc., and is also the largest distributor of specialty cheese and caviar in Australia.

The enterprise-wide transformation program will see Infor F&B deployed in financial management, inventory management, procurement, warehouse management, sales order management, cost accounting, manufacturing, quality management, and other areas.

Infor F&B will provide Bright Food with greater flexibility, mobility, automation and visibility across the business in warehousing, retail, finance and manufacturing pillars, and positively impact a variety of users, from production line workers to administration staff. Infor F&B will replace Bright Food’s 14-year, on-premises Infor ERP solution, and will future-proof the organisation’s internal core business systems while ensuring compatibility with external applications, platforms and emerging technologies.

The implementation will be rolled out in three phases across Australia and New Zealand, in partnership with Infor gold channel partner and ERP specialist ComActivity. Bright Food will also have the choice to use Infor Coleman AI, a digital assistant that will redefine access to systems, information and workflows with text and voice interactions in a variety of business units and tasks such as maintenance requests, inventory assessments, and customer inquiries. Such AI capabilities can aid Bright Food’s end-users in how they operate with the system.

“Bright Food Global has been at the forefront of food innovation for decades, and the move to the cloud with Infor will provide the group with greater flexibility, enhanced mobility, and substantially improve visibility for the organisation – both internally and externally,” said Peter Gunning, Bright Food Global chief financial officer and executive director. “We’ve had Infor in our corner for many years and trust them to keep delivering for the business in our next phase of growth. Having such high-quality ERP cloud technology will put our systems, processes and operations in a better position to deliver significant efficiency gains. Infor’s value proposition was too compelling to refuse.”

According to Sarah Kibble, Bright Food Global head of IT, Infor’s F&B offering will enable the organisation to provide better employee and customer experiences, improve its bottom line and play a pivotal role in the organisation’s efficiency and growth plans.

“Infor has been an important strategic partner and, with Infor F&B, we will be able to deliver more efficiencies and scale the business with improved, intuitive functionality. The multi-tenant SaaS model with continual investment by Infor provides a pathway to improvements without the need for major system upgrades in the future, saving time, costs and resources whilst ensuring business process advancement.

“When we embarked on our move to the cloud, we assessed the market, opting to continue partnering with Infor due to its strong cloud technology investment and emerging leadership in this area. Its deep experience in the F&B vertical provides an ongoing and important advantage, as is the benefits of the stability and security of Infor F&B, which is a highly-resilient cloud platform,” Kibble said.

Infor ANZ managing director Jarrod Kinchington said: “Infor is thrilled to be able to continue supporting Bright Food Global as it embarks on a company-wide program to move to the cloud. We’re pleased that Bright Food Global has maintained its trust in Infor to deliver on this critical transformation project and look forward to helping the organisation drive its innovation agenda into the future.”

Delivered via multi-tenant cloud on Amazon Web Services (AWS), the solution will be deployed by Infor partner Fortude, and will help OFFICE simplify complex processes across merchandising, warehousing, allocations, planning and inventory management for greater business efficiency.

As part of its wider digital transformation strategy, OFFICE recognised the need to future-proof its merchandise management system and was looking for a solution that would simplify its complex business processes. OFFICE’s omnichannel model was placing considerable strain on existing IT resources and the business wanted to eradicate inefficiencies while securing real-time business insight to boost decision-making capabilities.

“Our IT infrastructure wasn’t keeping pace with the business’ rate of growth,” comments Jon Richens, OFFICE’s managing director. “Infor CloudSuite Fashion will provide the streamlined functionality that the business needs, resulting in real efficiency savings across the organisation. We will be able to deliver timely, accurate and insightful business information to the right people, at the right time, enabling faster, more pro-active decision-making.

“We’re a dynamic business and need systems to match,” Richens continues. “The solutions from Infor provide simplicity of architecture but with the depth and breadth of industry-specific functionality we need, all at an attractive price point and with the added resilience and agility of the cloud. The level of commitment from both the Infor and Fortude teams has been second-to-none, and we’ve established a truly collaborative working partnership, which I’m confident will stand us in good stead once we start implementation in 2022.”

“Our roots in fashion and skill in leveraging enterprise technology solutions were key to our selection for the project. Our knowledge and expertise ensure customers select the most effective solutions in meeting their specific needs — no matter how complex.” comments James Abdool, Fortude SVP for UK & Europe. “By working in partnership with Infor, we made sure we understood the challenges OFFICE was facing, and how Infor’s solutions could meet these challenges head on, by setting the right infrastructure in place to underpin best-practice processes right across the business.”

“The flexibility and agility of cloud technology is the perfect fit for growing businesses that are fully embracing an omnichannel model,” comments Anwen Robinson, Infor GM and SVP for UK & Ireland. “Infor CloudSuite Fashion offers industry-specific functionality to enable brands to respond quickly and effectively to shifting consumer demands. As OFFICE has recognised, it’s the ideal solution for fashion businesses that are keen to refine and streamline their key business processes. What results is comprehensive organisational visibility and insight, coupled with a rapid return on investment and a solid platform for sustainable business growth.”
